Compromise Joint Bars are manufactured to fit all rail combinations; tee rail, girder rail, and crane rail. The bars are manufactured from rolled steel sections, forged and machined to precise tolerances, and heat-treated to industry specifications as directed in AREMA Chapter 4.
Standard Specifications for Compromise Joints: A compromise joint consists of two bars without bolts. Heat treating consists of heat, oil quench and temper. Bolt holes are alternately round and oval. Compromise joints are typically head contact. Head free joints and other variations will be manufactured to customer order.

Surface Preparations such as shot blasting and painting are available.
